The Hydraulic Post Driver (PD45) is a heavy duty tool that will drive posts of almost any configuration, including “U” channel, round or square.

It is ideal for DOT applications to drive breakway post to within 4 inches above ground level.

The Post Driver PD45 lets the operator “index” the post in the tool, giving control of the post and driver, and reducing damage to the top of the post, unlike other post drivers that simply rest on the top of the post.

Versatile

The most versatile tool of its type available, having the capacity to drive a wide range of posts including #2, #3, & #4 lb/ft "U" channel, #3 & #4 Strong Back "U" channel, #1 delineator, up to 2-5/8 inch round, or up to 2-1/2 inch square posts.
DOT Requirements

The PD45132G is specifically designed to meet State Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving breakaway posts and delineators
Remote Control

The PD45131 is controlled by a remote on/off valve that allows the operator to position the post driver and control its operation from a valve that is remote from the driver. 
Trigger 
  • Offered in three trigger options; two have the trigger in the handle (Valve-in-Handle) and one has a remote on/off. Both trigger Valve-inHandle models have an ON/OFF trigger adjacent to a guiding handle. 
  • The trigger extends the full length of the handle allowing the operator to activate the post driver at any position of its length. 
  • The trigger is “spring loaded” to the OFF position.
